Carbon Financial Partners is an IFA based in the UK with offices in Edinburgh, Perth, Glasgow, Aberdeen, and London.
Carbon approached Genoa Black initially with a brief to update their brand that accurate reflects their unique approach to financial planning and the personalities of their valued clients, whilst also ensuring financial regulations and compliance to professional standards was adhered to.
The Genoa Black team worked with the leadership team to define the direction of their brand and the typical personas of their ideal client.
We then created a new visual identity for Carbon based on the ethos of using financial planning to “write your life story” that is targeted towards their ideal client persona. Our creative team then introduced secondary colours to the existing black and orange colour palette to bring energy into the brand and chose imagery to reflect people living their ideal life to support the new narrative.
Genoa Black also produced messaging guides for the clients which softened the language around the financial process to create the perception that working with Carbon is an exciting journey to reflect the businesses unique processes.
Genoa Black then implemented the new brand look, feel and messaging via an ongoing marketing retainer. With a focus on client acquisition, the marketing strategy is geared towards showcasing the team’s expertise and how Carbon work differently to other IFAs and will become a “Partner for life”.
