Genoa Black builds Google Partnership for Island GIS

Brief / Requirement

Island GIS was established in 2006 as a respected GIS services consultancy with a focus on the oil and gas, utilities, maritime, construction, security and environment industries. 

We started work with Island GIS in August 2013 as their strategic, creative, marketing management partner in order to develop the business profile in its key global sectors.

Campaign and deliverables

The brand and marketing strategy involved the use of colour and creativity, supported by comprehensive messaging and service detail to create a strong balance between industry and people. This was taken across a range of marketing activities that included leveraging Island GIS’s strategic partnership with Google Enterprise at a collaborative industry event in Aberdeen, segmented customer communications, PR features and interviews, award entries and case study generation through in-depth customer interviews.

Results

We created an engaging and strong brand positioning & guidelines, new branding and website, that supported a compelling marketing campaign to help build awareness in key sectors as well as developing a winning entry into the AGI Award for Innovation and Achievement in 2013.
