Brief / Requirement

In 2015 we started work with Maritime Developments in Aberdeen – a fast growing, highly innovative and agile challenger brand in the offshore equipment market.  After working closely with the team in Aberdeen and Peterhead, a strategic and creative marketing remit resulted in a highly unique, bold and unconventional brand strategy in a historically traditional and conservative sector.

Campaign and deliverables

Working collaboratively with customers and pre-empting their needs, MDLs maverick approach to their sector fuelled our recommendation around an exciting and energetic global marketing and brand strategy, underpinned by a very real and down to earth North East, doric personality.


Ingenious Instinct was created as a result of global customer and industry influencer engagement as well as significant time understanding the internal culture and ways of working with the MDL team and working closely with Scottish Development International and Scottish Enterprise on worldwide global intelligence.
