Genoa Black nominated for Growth Business of the Year

We are delighted to announce that we have been shortlisted as a finalist in the Courier Business Awards 2017, in association with Henderson Loggie, for ‘Growth Business of the Year’.

Celebrating stories of success and innovation in businesses across Tayside and Fife, the awards are open to a range of businesses and include seventeen award categories.

Headquartered in Perth and Kinross and with offices in Aberdeen, South Queensferry and London and working with companies throughout Tayside including Tillicoultry Quarries, James Hutton Institute and Perth College, we were pleased to have been shortlisted for The ‘Growth Business’ category, which acknowledges companies that have achieved sustained growth and increased their workforce over the past three years.

Having enjoyed a 66% increase in turnover over the past 12 months, alongside a rise of employee numbers of 150% in the last three years, further investment and development plans continue for Genoa Black. We will be attending the celebratory awards ceremony and dinner at The Apex City Quay Hotel in Dundee, on Saturday 28th October and are looking forward to joining the Courier in celebrating on the evening with the rest of the worthy finalists.

Genoa Black Owner and Managing Director, Claire Kinloch commented, "Since starting Genoa Black four years ago, we have been committed to the growth and development of our business across Scotland and further afield. With so many great and diverse businesses on our doorstep in Tayside, we have focused much of our efforts on developing relationships with these companies and helping them create value through classic marketing approaches. We are delighted that this has been recognised by the Courier Business Awards 2017 and look forward to attending the ceremony in October!"
