GENOA BLACK INVESTS IN YOUNG TALENT

Young talent has always formed an essential part of the Genoa Black business in the delivery of our strategic marketing and services offering for clients. Now in our fourth year, we have to date taken on five graduates, six interns and this summer launched our formal graduate programme, Shipmates.

As the pressure for young people to develop essential and relevant skills in the workplace continues to ensure they are fit for business and can develop successful and sustainable careers, we are proud to announce that we have joined forces with Klozers and fatBuzz to launch a new Scottish Sales and Marketing Academy.

Providing a comprehensive 12 month programme, the academy will provide both graduates and businesses employing graduates with critical sales and marketing guidance, tools and skills that can be applied practically in the workplace.

Created by Klozers, sponsored by the Royal Bank of Scotland and in conjunction with Scottish Enterprise and ScotGrad, the programme will enable graduates from across Scotland to harness strategic marketing knowledge from Genoa Black, digital marketing expertise from fatBuzz and sales excellence from Klozers, the sales specialists.

“We are delighted to be a partner of the Scottish Sales and Marketing Academy. In line with our values built around “discovering marketing potential” it is strongly aligned to our passion, invested and commitment to developing young talent and we look forward to working closely with Klozers and fatBuzz to build an exciting and value-adding programme for Scottish businesses and graduates alike” says Owner and Director Claire Kinloch.
