SB Drug Discovery is a Scottish-based, leading ion channel partner delivering very specialist, fast, robust drug discovery services. Without a Cambridge or US base, the business’ location was perceived as a potential barrier to entry and required strategic support to elevate the branding and messaging status to compete in the global market.
We worked with SB Drug Discovery to create a new visual identity that would help the business to punch above its weight. Using a clean, consistent and classically corporate design style, the business was given the look of an established global company. As a point of visual difference the logo marque is styled to reflect an ion channel.
Whilst differentiating from the competition, the new identity also positions the business a serious, professional, player. Supported with a refined messaging guide, the project is being rolled out across all marketing collateral on and offline and is helping the business to compete for bigger and longer contracts.
