Today is World Mental Health Day.

In a time of so many uncertainties, it’s more important now than ever to appreciate our friends, family and colleagues whilst not forgetting ourselves. There’s no easy way, there’s no short-cut, we simply have to focus on the things we can control, and learn, (quite often by collaborating) to ‘manage’ the things we can’t. A problem shared is a problem halved.

The past 6 months have undoubtedly proven that teamwork has been at the core of our Genoa Black success. Although we can’t be together in person, we are very much an integrated unit. Daily phone calls and meetings allow us to spend valuable and conducive time with each other. Online brainstorms, strategic workshops and client facing presentations, it’s all going on.

In summary, healthy minds equals healthy attitudes resulting in productive outputs. So the next time you ‘hit the wall’ and you feel utterly depleted of any creative inspiration, pick up the phone and ‘call a friend’. I promise you won’t regret it.
